Dr. Penny Wootton
DVM
After graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) at the University of Guelph in 1991, Dr. Penny Wootton worked in multiple clinics before moving to Gatineau Hills. Becoming co-owner of the clinic in 2011, Penny hopes to continue serving pets for years to come.

If someone’s looking for something, Bianca knows where to find it! Since joining our team in 2021, she has been meticulously collecting her knowledge in all her binders. Always accompanied by her sisters-in-arms, Chika and Puce, Bianca never hesitates to help her colleagues with their daily tasks.

Madison doesn’t have to be the loudest, because her work speaks for itself! Since joining our team in 2023, the whole team has noticed daily how spotless the back office is. Eager to get the job done, Madison makes sure everything stays clean and organized.

Karine

Having arrived during the peak of the pandemic, Karine quickly became an asset to our team. As talented as a receptionist as she is as an assistant, she makes sure the whole team gets the help they need. Being a cat lover, Karine has recently found a new partner; Aïana, her two daughters’ new best friend.

Anna has as many qualities as there are sheep in her flock. Hard-working, meticulous, reliable and helpful, she is the epitome of organisation. Assuring excellent coordination with our customers and various shelters, she enables the clinic to serve the Gatineau Valley with a high level of skill.

Laura loves animals, especially her dogs Molly and Tess, who are at the heart of her life. After working at a dog groomer’s, Laura reiterates her love of our furry friends by being part of our team.

Michelle
Animal Care Assistant
Since her arrival at the clinic in 1998, Michelle has become a vital part of the clinic. Having always been close to her community, she is fortunate to be able to help it on a regular basis. Every morning when she arrives at the clinic, you can feel the atmosphere lighten and the birds sing.

Samanta is a local girl who works for her people. Having grown up surrounded by animals, working with our four-legged companions was a natural fit. Her good humour is contagious.

RVT
Arriving in 2021, Annie is the clinic’s work horse. Always set to work, she’s known for her cold blooded nature and mastery of the field. Annie, a registered technician since 2003, is always ready to share her knowledge.
